For a small island, Maui has a huge variety of terrains and climates. There are lots of little nooks and crannies, and places with their own distinct personality. Hana, on the east part of the island, happens to be one of my favorite spots. It’s got a slow feel, a soft wind, the air smells sweet, and it’s incredibly relaxing, once you get past the miles and miles of windy roads you need to brave to get there. Last Sunday, we decided to be spontaneous and make a day trip out of it. We had a long day filled with cliff jumping, homemade lilikoi ice cream, one-lane bridges, waterfalls, a pack of friendly stray dogs, and of course, quality time with good friends.

Wow. SO beautiful!!! I love the shot taken from above of the 3 people jumping into the water. Looks like they are going into the clouds!
Each & every one is so beautuful. They should all be postcards.
Classy postcards…not the ABC kind.
That is so beautiful Anna!! I’m gonna forward this to Dave so we can sell our house and move there.
Great shots Anna, my favs:
1. B & W of the bridge
2. Ajja doing water ballet.
3. The three of you jumping into the pool with the cloud reflections.
Amazing!
Hey Anna, so awesome, you really have a touch for the right pictures and deserve every singly bit of credit you have received. So good!
